SIF Unity Dashboard | PowerSchool SIS Compliance

The Iowa SIF Unity Dashboard is used to review and publish enabled SIF Unity resources. The dashboard is organized into four functional sections. Each object includes a Run Now action, and each section includes a Run All action.

Dashboard Actions

Action	Description
Run Now	Publishes one selected SIF Unity object. Use this action for targeted publishing or republishing.
Run All	Publishes all enabled objects in the selected dashboard section.
Review	Displays processing status, dependencies, errors, and publication details before or after publishing.
Refresh	Refreshes the dashboard status and publication counts.

Publish Organization Data

Publish these objects first. They establish the organization, calendar, grading, course, and section records required by dependent objects.

7	Mark Info	Publishes marking-period information.
8	Mark Value Info	Publishes valid grading-scale values.
9	School Course Info	Publishes school course information.
10	Section Info	Publishes section, schedule, teacher, and instructional delivery information.
11	Section Mark Info	Publishes valid marks associated with sections.

Publish Student Data

Publish these objects after the organization and setup records are available.

4	Student Snapshot	Publishes the student’s current enrollment and academic snapshot.

6	Student Section Marks	Publishes student marks for sections.
7	Student Contact Personal	Publishes contact-person details.
8	Student Contact Relationship	Publishes the relationship between a student and a contact.
9	Discipline Incident	Publishes discipline incidents and related offender, victim, weapon, and removal information.

Publish StudentContactPersonal before StudentContactRelationship so relationship records can reference the contact-person records.

Publish Staff Data

Publish these objects after the school and organization records are available.

Publish Attendance and Academic Records

Publish these objects after the required student, enrollment, calendar, section, and grading records are available.

1	Student Attendance Summary	Publishes aggregate student attendance information.
2	Student Daily Attendance	Publishes daily attendance records.
3	Student Period Attendance	Publishes period attendance records.
4	Student Academic Record	Publishes current and historical academic records, courses, marks, credits, GPA, and class-rank information.

Recommended Publishing Order

Publish Organization Data.
Publish Student Data.
Publish Staff Data.
Publish Attendance and Academic Records.
Use Review to check dependencies and errors.
Use Run Now to republish an individual object when needed.
Use Run All to publish all enabled objects in a section.

Publishing in this order helps ensure that dependent records reference existing LEA, school, term, course, section, student, staff, and grading records.

Publishing Notes

All 26 Iowa SIF_IA_4 resources are active and available in the dashboard.
The dashboard does not use a separate code-level On Demand publishing mode.
Objects can be published individually with Run Now or by section with Run All.
Student Snapshot and Student Academic Record support individual-student publishing through the SIF Unity configuration.
Disabled resources are not included when Run All is selected.
The selected school year and enabled schools determine the publishing context.

After Publishing

Review the dashboard for errors.
Review dependency counts and resolve any missing prerequisite records.
Verify the expected published record counts.
Confirm that each resource displays the latest publication date and time.
Use Review to investigate failed or incomplete publications.
