School Course Marks (SCM) Report (Obsolete)

Introduction

This report provides student course enrollment and marks data for submission to the Department of Education (DOE). Once the data is verified, the schools receive student diploma exam marks and final blended marks from the DOE.

Students Attending Classes at Another School

If a student is attending a class at another school, you must first enroll the student in the class at the other school on the Functions > Enroll in a Class at Another School page. Complete the following to ensure the student is reported on the SCM report:

Store the grades at System > Permanently Store Grades:

If the grades are stored at the home school, choose the All Schools option on the Store Grades For Classes Enrolled At field.
If the grades are stored at the other school, choose the All Schools option on the Store Grades For Classes Enrolled At field.

Students Attending Classes at a School Outside the School Authority

If a student attends a class at a school that is outside the school authority, then there may not be a course in the course catalog to associate when the grade is being stored. In this case, manually enter the grade that the student received. To report the school and the course numbers correctly use the Course Number Override and the School Number Override fields. To ensure that the course mark is reported on the SCM report, select the Include External Stored Grades option.

Field	Descriptio
Students to Include	Indicate which students to include in the report by selecting one of the following options: The selected [number] students only – Run the report for students in the current selection. All students – Run the report for all students in the current school or district that meet the selection criteria. Note: If running the report for a single student, or group of students, select the students prior to running report.
Store Code	Choose the store code from the popup menu.
Diploma or Non-diploma Exam Courses	Choose to run Diploma or Non-diploma courses from the pop-up menu.
Run for Summer School	Select the checkbox to run report for summer school.
Include External Stored Grades	Select the checkbox to process the School Override and the Course Override fields for grades that were taken outside the school authority and that don’t have a course number in the course catalog.
