Washington Health Screening Report
Introduction
The Health Screening report (M873) is used to gather student health screening information including outcome information. The report uses the State Reporting Platform (SRP) which optimizes the performance of the report.
The report counts those students who have had a health screening at any time during the selected academic year. This report can be used to identify the number of different health screening outcomes by screening type. This report may be run at the school or district level and may take several hours to run depending on the size of your school or district.
Running the Health Screenings report will generate the output files, which are in a zip format: WA_Health Screening_Report.zip. When unzipped, there are two files:
- Screening_Audit. This is the CSV file listing of each student included in the report and their associated information.
- Screening_Summary. This is the PDF file displaying the health screening totals by school.
PS_Enrollment_All - This view provides Current Enrollment, Previous Enrollment, and Special Program Enrollment information.
Selection Criteria
Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis of report results when the report does not return the correct records.
Student Selection
The report selects student records from the [Students] and [ReEnrollments] table based on the following criteria:
- The school must not be excluded from state reporting.
- The student must not be excluded from state reporting.
- The student must be enrolled in a school included in the report.
- The student's school Entry Date must occur on or before the report end date.
- The student's school Exit Date must occur on or after the report start date.
- The student must not be a no-show; i.e., their school Exit Date must be after their Entry Date.
- The student must have a health screening on file within, or on the selected date range of the report.
