Student Directory
Introduction
The report extracts directory data for high school students in grades 9 to 12 and their parents/guardians who have not opted out of information sharing through the annual FERPA notification process.
Selection Criteria
Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis of report results when the report does not return the correct records.
Student Selection
The report selects student records based on the following criteria:
The student must in the grade levels 9 - 12.
The Exclude from OSPI Student Directory Reporting flag is not checked for the student. ([s_wa_stu_x]OPTOUTSTUDIRECTORY)

Select Schools | If run at the district level, choose one of the following:
If run at the school level, the report includes all records associated with the current school that meet the selection criteria. To change the current school, click School at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list. |
Current Selection Students | Indicate which students to include in the report by selecting one of the following options:

School Year | Select the appropriate school year from the drop-down list. The menu is automatically populated with the full-year term associated with the term currently selected at the top of the page. To change the School Year, click Term at the top of the page and choose a different term from the drop-down list. |
Report Output
Each of the fields displayed in the output of the report are described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.
