Import Virginia SOL Test Result Files
The Import Virginia SOL Test Results Files provides users with custom import function for the SOL Test Results data. From the start page in PowerSchool users can access the function by clicking on Special Functions on the left hand side of the start page > Import Virginia SOL Test Result Files. The results are imported into fields in the VA student test table and displayed on the SOL Test Scores student page. The import file must be a .csv file and have the pre-defined format described below. Prior to saving the output, you can preview the validation results by clicking Show valid next to Valid Record. The preview is displayed in the order: Name, Grade Level, Test Administration, Test Date, Test Type, Test, Substitute Test, Test Scaled Score, Reporting Category Scaled Score 1-7, Vertical Scaled Score, and Performance Level.
Unlike Quick Import the columns on the template MUST remain in the same order as the example template. For those columns where the data is recommended but not required you MUST still leave the column in the template and in the same order. For example, if you do not import Division Information the column must still be included for the import to function correctly.
