TX Interchange Master Schedule

Introduction
This interchange includes information for any school not excluded from state reporting. It is the education organization’s course offering schedule.
Submission 4 Selection Criteria
The following selection criteria determine which database records are used in the Extended Year collection. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records. For submission 4, Section Association records are output only for Dual Credit Summer School Classes.
Section Selection Based on Manual Entry Stored Grades Records for Dual Credit Summer School Classes
- The stored grade must be associated with the prior academic year.
- The stored grade must not be excluded from 415 reporting.
- The stored grade must be associated with a student was been enrolled in the prior school year, or is enrolled in the current year.
- The stored grade must be associated with a student who has a PEIMS General record in effect for at least one day in the prior school year.
- The stored grade must not be associated with a course or section which is excluded from 090 reporting.
- The stored grade must have a summer school Service ID for Dual Credit.
- The Special Explanation code for the stored grade must equal R - Course completed in summer school.
- The Dual Credit Indicator for the stored grade record must equal 1.
- The Alternate CDC Number (if populated) for the stored grade must match a school in the district.

Collection Code | Choose the Collection from the pop-up menu for the report generated. This option controls the naming of the file. FALL1 is for Submission 1, FALL2 is for Re-Submission, and FALL3 is for Working Collection. |
School Year | Choose the school year. This value is used in the file name as well as determining which year to use for the data extraction. |
ECDS: Limit to Grade K and/or PK | Choose the appropriate filter to limit the report to students enrolled in kindergarten or preschool. Defaults to No. Note: Only visible for the Summer collection. |
Run Now | Select this option to run the report immediately. |
Schedule | Select this option to run this report on a scheduled basis. Once this option is selected the following choices are:

Report Output: XML for PEIMS
Each of the fields displayed in the output of the report are described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.
Filename for PEIMS:
The filename must be in the following format:
- District Code: Position 1-6
- Underscore: Position 7, 11, 21 and 34.
- Campus ID: Position 8-10 – If the file is generated by a user from the District Office, this value is 000. If the file is generated by a user from a school, this value is the three-digit campus ID for the user. This allows partial files to be submitted that contain data only for one school.
- Collection Code: Position 12-20. This starts with the ending year of the school year followed by the five characters Collection Code (i.e. FALL1).
- Timestamp: Position 22-33 – This is YYYYMMDDHHMM where YYYY is year, MM is month, DD is day, HH is hour, and MM is minute.
- Interchange: Position 35 starts the name of the Interchange – InterchangeMasterScheduleExtension.xml
Note: If the student has records at a Non-Reportable Campus, the student's records are reported under the student's home school of enrollment.

Course Offering – This complex type is repeated for each school and includes any course that has at least one section in the master schedule for the year the report is processed. Courses are excluded if the Alternate Course Number is blank, the Course or Section is coded to Exclude from the 090 records or the service ID is one that is not reported on the 300 record. The id is CO_xxx_ccc_ttt where xxx is the School Number, ccc is the Course Number, and ttt is the TermID. Note: For mixed grade level classes, the report extracts a corresponding Course Offering for each unique grade level. For example, a class with PK, K, 1 & 2 would have four Course Offering records. | |||
