Define unique course and fitness grade scales.

Passing Grade Mapping
This setting is for districts to determine pass/fail status for grades. This is used in the PEIMS Transcript records.
- Select District > Grade Scales. The Grade Scales for the district is displayed.
- Select pencil icon to the right of the grade scale.
- Check the Passing Grade checkbox for any grade that is considered passing. This setting is primarily used for alpha grades that need to be assigned for passing.
- Repeat this process for all grade scales in use for grades PK – 12.

Guidelines for Test Setup
In order for the TREx extract and the AAR (Academic Achievement Record) to properly list a student’s test/assessment scores, district test scores must be setup according to the following guidelines.
If your district has already defined tests, you may simply change your test settings and they will be effective immediately.
- Change your school to the DISTRICT LEVEL.
- Navigate to District Setup, Test.
When creating a test, you must mark the “Test Type” as STATE for the following tests: TAKS EXIT, STAAR 3-8, STAAR EOC and TELPAS.
