Introduction
Use the Fitnessgram report to extract the data to upload to the Fitnessgram 10 Program. The 83rd Texas Legislature provided funding for all districts to use this third party software to reporting their physical fitness results to the state. Vendors were requested to create an extract that will upload student information from the student information system to Fitnessgram 10. This is PowerSchool report TX46.
Selection Criteria
Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. For Fitnessgram, student enrollment records are selected.
School Selection
The report selects which school records to use based on the following criteria:
- The school must be associated with a student included in the report.
Student Selection
The report selects which student records to use based on the following criteria:
- The student must be active.
- The student must be actively enrolled in a section(s) for the year/term selected where the course AAR Subject Category = PE, or must be enrolled in a course or sectionwhich is flagged as "Include in Fitness Assessment". The student will have multiple records if they are enrolled in multiple PE classes.
- The student must not be enrolled at a campus that is Excluded from State Reporting.
Report Input
Each of the available run options and data fields for the report are described below.

Select Schools | If run at the district level, choose one of the following:
If run at the school level, the report includes all records associated with the current school that meet the selection criteria. To change the current school, click School at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list. |

School Year | Choose the school year for the student enrollment data you want to include on the report. This value is used to determine certain naming conventions within the extract. |
School Term | Select the terms to use in selecting PE classes.

Grades | Select all of the grade levels to include in the extract. The default is all grades selected. |
Exclude Records Missing Required Fields | Choose Yes or No to indicate whether to exclude records from the output if one or more of the required fields (Student Unique ID, Teacher Unique ID, and Teacher Email) is NULL. The default value is No. |
Run Now | Select this option if the user wants to run the report immediately. |
Schedule | Select this option if the user wants to run this report on a scheduled basis. Once this option is selected the following choices are:

Report Output: Fitnessgram Report
Each of the fields displayed in the output of the report are described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.
If there are no records for the selected group, the output will include a message "None of the selected students are enrolled in a PE section for the term or grade selected".
Filename:
The file must be a comma delimited (.csv) file with a filename in the following format: FG 1- Extract yyyy.csv where yyyy is the spring part of the school year (i.e. 2018 for 2017-2018).
All fields that are noted must be included (some as blank) and are separated by a comma.
