Defining Staff Responsibilities
Navigation: Go to Edit Information and select Staff Responsibilities.
The following fields will be generated during the Staff Responsibility Report and Record Creation or can be manually created here. Manual changes to records associated to a section should never be made until the LEA decides that the Staff Responsibilities Record Generation is not going to be run for that collection and year anymore. Manual entries where the Internal Section is None may be entered at any time.
Staff Responsibility Records are created with the School ID and the Year ID. If manual records are re-used from year to year, there will not be a history of staff responsibilities. Although not recommended for data auditing, the manual record can be edited each year to update the school year and any other pertinent information for the current year.

Internal Section ID | Once the school year and campus have been selected, choose the appropriate section from the master schedule that displays in the pop-up menu. If it doesn’t, toggle to another section and back to the correct section to force the Class ID to populate. This is used for the Monthly Minutes calculation. Number of Students in Class (E0170) | This is the calculated value of the number of students in the class when the Staff Responsibilities Report and Record Creation is run. Class ID Number (E1056) | A number identifying a class that is unique for a staff person on campus. The CLASS-ID-NUMBER may be any 14 character district-defined identifier comprised of letters and/or numbers that uniquely identifies a class at the staff person/campus level. This should be the calculated value from the Class ID Setup in District Info. However, this field can be used as an override to avoid duplicate IDS.
