Introduction

This report allows the school division to submit student reading, writing, and math assessment information to SDS.

Data/functionality Not Supported by the PowerSchool Report

The following Ministry data field is not supported:

AssessmentElement Code – it does not apply to the Levelled Reading, Writing or Math assessments

The following Ministry data field values are not supported:

AssessmentTool Selected Code – the value "No". This new PowerSchool functionality will serve to add student assessment data to SDS; removal of student assessments (that have previously been submitted to SDS) will be performed by end users via the SDS website.
AssessmentLevel Code – values 97 through 101. These values do not apply to the Levelled Reading, Writing or Math assessments.

Report Input

Field	Description
Data to be Filled	Select the checkbox next to the filter fields to save the settings as defaults.To select all checkboxes, choose Select All from the drop-down menu.To clear all checkboxes, choose Clear All <default>.
Select Schools	If the report is run from the currently-selected school, ensure that the school is highlighted in the pop-up menu. If the report is from at the District level, select one or more schools from the pop-up menu. When run from the district level, data from all selected schools are included. When run from a school, the report includes data from the current school only.
Run Report For	Choose whether to run the report for the currently selected students or all students.
Assessment Type	Select one or more assessments to report. Fall Assessment Spring Assessment Writing Assessment Math Assessment

Report Output

Each of the fields displayed in the output of this report are described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.

Output format: Zip file containing on or more XML files

File name format: SK_Assessment[Name]@[Timestamp].xml

When run for multiple schools, one file will be produced for each school.

Zone	The time zone for the time that the Report was generated.	N/A
SAS_SourceId	The current School Number. This is the department-assigned number of the organization.	[Schools]School_Number
SAS_EventObject - One SAS_EventObject is produced for each student selected for the report with Levelled Reading Assessment data

StudentIdentification	This element identifies a student (in conjunction with information in StudentInfo if the Learning ID Number is not included).
