SC29 Add On Weightings from Extract Report

Introduction

This report option allows for the creation of the Add On Weightings Totals Report based on prior report extracts for the currently selected school year and currently selected school. Report extracts may or may not be ones that are required by the SCDE for state funding. The list of report extracts is sorted by School Name, Day Number, and the Date/Time the report extract was created.

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. For the SC29 Add On Weightings from Extract it uses the S_SC_RptAddOnHeader_S table and the S_SC_RptAddOnExtract_C table. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.

Field

Description

Available Reports

Using the CONTROL (Windows) key or COMMAND (Mac) key select the extracts that you would like to print. Use the SHIFT key to select all of the extracts.

Run Now

Select this option if the user wants to run the report immediately.

Schedule

Select this option if the user wants to run this report on a scheduled basis. Once this option is selected the following choices are:

  • Run Once
    • Start Date and Start Time to run the report.
  • Repeat
    • Select Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly for the appropriate re-occurrence for running the report.
      • If Daily is selected, check the Weekdays only box to limit to weekdays.
      • If Weekly is selected, check which weekday to run the report.
      • If Monthly is selected, check the month to run the report.
      • If Yearly is selected, select either the date or the weekday to run the report.
  • Date Range – Select No End Date or a date that the re-occurrence should end.

Report Output

Each of the fields displayed in the output of the report are described below. The report will print No Students meet the report criteria if the report is blank. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.

Date

The date the report was processed.

BEDS Code

This field is calculated by combining the district number and school code. The district number is extracted from the Edit District page, Start Page > District Setup > District Information.

The school code is extracted from the Edit School page, Start Page > District Setup > Schools/School Info > Edit School.

Name

This field contains the name of your school. This value is extracted from the Edit School page, Start Page > District Setup > Schools/School Info > Edit School.

999 Day Data as of 99/99/9999

This field contains the end date or day number entered on the report interface page.

Page

This is the page number.

District Name

This field contains the name of your school district. This value is extracted from the Edit District page, Start Page > District Setup > District Information.

Line

This field contains the line number for each of the EIA codes and the total row.

Add On Weightings Classification

This field lists the Add On Weightings Classifications a student may be eligible for based on their number of membership days.

00 – 12

This field contains the total number of days of membership in each Add On Weightings Classification, calculated by grade level.

Row Total

This calculated field is the total number of days of membership for each category in each Add On Weightings Classification.

Column Total

This calculated field is the total number of days of membership in the Add On Weightings Classification for each grade level.

ADM

This divides the total number of days’ membership for the Add On Weightings Classification divided by the number of days the report is generated (i.e. if run for day 135, it divides by 135).

Principal

This field contains the name of the principal at the school selected for the report. This value is extracted from the Edit School page, Start Page > District Setup > Schools/School Info > Edit School.

Superintendent

This field contains the name of the superintendent of the school district. This value is extracted from the Edit District page, Start Page > District Setup > District Information.
