Introduction
This template connects a weapon to the offender and the infraction. If multiple weapon types apply to the incident/offender, submit a separate record for each weapon type associated with the incident/offender.
Selection Criteria
Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.
Student Selection
The report selects records from the [Students] table if the student is not excluded from state reporting.
School Selection
The report selects records from the [Schools] table if at least one incident is recorded at the school during the reporting period.

Select Schools | Indicate the schools to include in the report from the following options: If sub-districts are not enabled:

If run at the school level, the report includes all records associated with the current school that meet the selection criteria. To change the current school, click School at the top of the page and choose the school from the list. If Current School Only is selected, only incidents that occurred at the current school are included. This includes students from another school involved in an incident. Students from the current school who were involved in an incident at another school are not included. For example, if John Smith from East High School was involved in an incident at West High School, he must be reported when running the report for West High School, but not East High School. |
Students to Include | Indicate the students to include in the report from the following options:
If All Students is selected, then incidents involving Staff or Others are included. If Selected 1 Students Only is selected, then Incidents involving Staff or Others are excluded. |
Select School Year | Select the school year for which the data is needed. |
Report Start Date | Enter the start date for the reporting period - (Incidents must have occurred on or after this date). |
Report End Date | Enter the end date for the reporting period - (Incidents must have occurred on or before this date). |
