EWS Student Setup

Introduction

The following data elements are required for student setup. The first two pages of navigation are removed for brevity:

Start Page > Student.

On the Start Page, select the School link at the top of the page.
Choose the appropriate school from the pop-up menu.
Click Submit.
Select the first letter of the student's last name.
Select a student from the list. The last accessed student information page opens for the student selected.

Editing Current Enrollment Student Selection > Edit Current Enrollment Student Selection > Edit Previous Enrollment
Residence Status Code (EWS Data)	The residency status of the student as of the enrollment date of the enrollment transaction. Valid Values: 01 - Resident of administrative unit and usual school attendance area 02 - Resident of administrative unit, but of other school attendance area 03 - Resident of an administrative unit that crosses state boundaries 04 - Resident of another state 05 - Resident of this state, but not of this administrative unit. Note: For withdrawal-reentry transactions associated with residence status changes, populate the withdrawal record with the OLD residence status code and the reentry record with the NEW residence status code.
