EWS District Setup

Introduction

The following data elements are required for Early Warning Dashboard setup – District Setup. The first two pages of navigation are removed for brevity:

Start Page > District Setup.

  1. On the Start Page, click the School link at the top of the page. The school list appears.

  2. Choose District Office from the pop-up menu. The district start page appears.

  3. Click District. The District Setup page appears.

Enter the store codes that will be used for final grades in the stored grades table. Separate codes with a comma and no spaces.

District Setup > Grades Scales > Edit /New Grade Scale

Early Warning System Alpha Grade Code Mapping

 

Select the alpha grade value from the popup menu.

Note: Required setup for the Student Grade Detail Template.

If the school awards percentage grades, the following scale will be used:

  • A+, A, A-, P (Pass), O (Outstanding) = 95

  • B+, B, B- = 85

  • C+, C, C-, S (Satisfactory), WP (Withdraw Pass) = 75

  • D+, D, D- = 65

  • F+, F, F-, U (Unsatisfactory) WF (Withdraw Fail) = 55

  • IP (In Progress) INC (Incomplete) MD (Medical) NG (No Grade) WD (withdraw) = Omitted from EWS calculations*
