staffEducationOrganizationVacancy

This resource publishes information about staff vacancies in various categories for the selected data collection period.

Primary PowerSchool Source Data

  • [S_NM_StaffVacancy_S]

Note regarding In-District Charter Schools:

Due to the way PED implemented the destination table on the NOVA side, In-District charter schools will not be able to publish this data successfully (they will result in errors in the main Ed-Fi dashboard).

In-District charters must send their staff vacancy counts to the parent LEA and the parent LEA will include those counts in their own staff vacancy counts.

Selection Criteria

Records are published if the following criteria are met:

  • If the S_NM_StaffVacancy_S record has a YearID that matches the publishing year.

  • The source table has a single record per reporting period (per year) with the counts for each vacancyGroup. For example, the data found in the 40D record will make up each of the published 40D records.

  • Each LEA must have 10 published records with the appropriate count, for each reporting period.

Resource Output

  • A single record is published for each unique class period at each school based on the year for the Term selected in the PowerSchool UI.

  • The courses resource is not dependent on the prior publishing of other Ed-Fi resources.

  • LEAs and Schools may upload (publish) data to the Ed- Fi ODS in real-time or on-demand (“Run Now” button).
