Report Description

The Direct Certification Extract reports student demographic data for submission to DESE for use in the Direct Certification process for students who qualify for the National School Lunch Program.

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.

Student and Log Entry Selection

The report selects records from the [Students]table based on the following criteria:

The student must be active or pre-registered.
The student must not be excluded from state reporting.

Field	Description
Schools to Include*	Select Multiple Schools using Ctrl+click to select multiple schools or Shift+click to select a range. When running from a school, only the current school can be selected.
Current Selection Students*	Select All Student or Selected # Students Only Note: If running the report for a single student or a group of students, select the students prior to running the report.
Include Students:	Select the students to be included in the report: Valid values: All Current Students – all current students will be reported Current students not marked as Free(F) or Reduced(R) – All current students who are not designated as Free or Reduced will be reported. Current students not marked as Free(F) – All current students who are not designated as Free will be reported.
Include Optional Information	Select: Yes to report all information, including data that is designated as Optional by DESE. No to report only the information that is required by DESE.
