District Setup

Introduction

The following data elements are required for state reporting.

To perform district-specific tasks:

  1. Click the School link at the top of the page. The School pop-up menu appears.

  2. Choose District Office. The district Start Page appears.

  3. Under District, click Setup.

The following information describes the setup required for State Reporting. For information about the general school setup, see PowerSchool Admin Help.

Note: Please make sure to add courses for any Dual Enrollment or Early College courses that students in your district are enrolled in. This will ensure that these courses have associated sections and associated grade scales in the school where the student is enrolled. This will help ensure that these course records are included in the TSDL submission.

Reported Value

If a district’s EOY Process uses an Exit Code that is not a state-defined exit status for students continuing into the new year, if would be advisable to enter a ‘19’ in this value for the purpose of summer exits in the Fall General Collection.

Enter the number you want to assign to the first incident entered in a Discipline Log Entry, then click the Create Sequence button. Leading zeroes are not required.

This number is automatically increased by one each time an IncidentID is generated for a new Discipline Log Entry record on the Log Entry page.
