New State ID Report

The New State ID Report provides student demographic data to enable Synergy to generate a StateStudentID for those students who are new to the Maine Public Education System.

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.

Student Selection

  • The student must be a new student as of the Snapshot Date.

  • The student must not be excluded from state reporting.

School Selection

  • The student’s school must not be excluded from state reporting.

Description

Select Schools*

Select the schools to include in the report:

If sub-districts are not enabled:

  • Select Mulitple Schools – Includes all student records associated with the selected school that meet the selection criteria.

  • All Schools - Select all the schools in the district.


If sub-districts are enabled:

  • Select Mulitple Schools - Select one or more schools mapped to the sub-district.

  • All Schools in selected sub-district - Select all the schools mapped to the sub-district.

Current Selection Students*

Choose which students to include in the report:

  • The selected [number] students only – Run the report for students in the current selection.

  • All students – Run the report for all students in the current school or district that meet the selection criteria.

If running the report for a single student, or group of students, select the students prior to running the report.


Snapshot Date*

Enter the report snapshot date.

Report Output

Each of the fields displayed in the output of the report are described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.

Note: The following data elements are required for the report submission except when listed as "blank is allowed".

The NEO Organization ID for the attending School Administrative Unit (SAU).

This is the SAU ID used for uploading and entering the student’s data.

If a sub-district number is enabled and mapped to the selected school, then the sub-district number displays in the SAUID column.
