Student Arrest Collection

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria determines which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.

The report selects records from the Schools table based on the following criteria:

  • The Log Entry School ID must be included in the schools selected for the extract.

Student Arrest Record Selection

The report selects records from the Log Entry table based on the following criteria:

  • The student cannot be excluded from State Reporting
  • The log type must equal Discipline.
  • The Arrest Date must be entered and must be less than the Report End Date and greater than the Report Start Date.

This report uses the State reporting Platform to generate results.

This section provides steps for configuring the scheduler node for the report queue.

Description

Select Schools*

If run at the district level, choose one of the following:

  • Select Multiple Schools – Select schools to include in the report. To select a single school, click that school. To select multiple schools, use Ctrl+Click and select each school to be included. Select schools to include in the report
  • All Schools – Run the report for the entire district.

If run at the school level, the report includes all records associated with the current school that meet the selection criteria. To change the current school, click School at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list.

  • All Students
School YearSelect the School Year for the report.

Report Start Date

Enter the Start Date of the school year.

Report End Date

Enter the End Date of the school year.

Use Alternate School NumbersSelect 'Yes' or 'No'

Submit

Click 'Submit' to run now or at specified time.

Scheduling – Run Now

Leave 'Run Now' selected to run the report upon Submit.

Scheduling – Schedule

Click the Schedule button to schedule this report to run at specified date and time as well as cycle options.

If the Ethnicity: Is the student Hispanic or Latino? field is blank, this field value is extracted from the Hispanic or Latino field on the Maryland State Reporting page, Start Page > Student Selection > Maryland State Information.

Race Description (New)

This field contains the identifying race description that applies to this student. A student record with two or more races will report as "Two or More Races". The race descriptions are extracted from the Edit Demographics page, Start Page > Student Selection> General Demographics.

If the race descriptions check boxes are not populated on the Edit Demographics page, the values are extracted from the race descriptions check boxes on the Maryland State Reporting page, Start Page > Student Selection > Maryland State Information.
