Introduction

This report includes student demographic data for upload to the EAGLE system. EAGLE is an online system for teachers and students that provides detailed feedback regarding student proficiency with grade level expectations (GLEs).

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.

Student Selection

The report selects records from the [Students] or [ReEnrollments] table that meet the following criteria:

  • The student must be enrolled in a school included in the report and the school must not be excluded from state reporting.
  • The student and the student’s school enrollment must not be excluded from state reporting.
  • The student’s school exit date must occur after the report start date.
  • The student’s school entry date must occur on or before the report end date.
  • The student’s school exit date must occur after the school entry date (excludes no-shows).
  • The student must be enrolled in grade level 1 or higher.
  • If the File Type selected at report runtime is “1,” then the Partial File Indicator checkbox must be selected on the Louisiana State Information student page.

Description

Select Schools*

Choose one of the following:

  • Current School Only – Includes all student records associated with the current school that meet selection criteria. To change the current school, click the School link at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list.
  • All Schools – Includes all student records on the PowerSchool server that meet selection criteria.

Note: The All Schools option is only available when running the report from the District Office.

Select Students*

Select one of the following:

  • The Select [Number] Students Only – only runs the report for the students in the current selection who meet the selection criteria of the report.
  • All Students - Includes all student records from the school that meet the selection criteria.

Start Date

Enter the report start date.

End Date

Enter the report end date.

Which date to use for determining enrollment level values?

Choose one of the following from the pop-up menu:

  • Start Date – Determine the students to report based on whether they were enrolled in the school on the report start date.
  • End Date – Determine the students to report based on whether they were enrolled in the school on the report end date.

File Type

Choose one of the following from the pop-up menu:

  • 1 – Partial File – Report students with the Partial File Indicator checkbox selected on the Louisiana State Information student page.
  • 2 – Entire Batch File – Include all students who meet the selection criteria.
  • 3 – Delete/Replacement File – Choose this option to indicate that the records already exist in the state database and need to be updated.
