SPC - Sponsor Site Calendar

Contents

Introduction

The Sponsor Site Calendar is used to identify the time allocated to instruct students. The calendar is also used to edit Student Information System dates, calculate ADA and ADM, and verify compliance with mandated minimum days/minutes of instruction. The instructional school year begins and ends on the first and last days of instruction. Instruction time includes any time spent on in class, on testing or evaluation, but excludes whole or part-days where students only receive report cards. The regular school session calendar may range from a traditional two-semester school year to a year-round school year with four semesters. The regular school session does not include summer school. Calendars should be submitted for each district. It is recommended to submit calendars for individual sites as well.

Collection periods:

  • Planned Calendars – Submit planned instructional time.
  • Actual Calendars – Replace the planned calendar with the actual calendar during the spring update.

All values extracted on this report can be entered via Start Page > District Setup > District Info > Click HERE to Create/Edit Sponsor Site Calendar Information.
