GUIDE Extract
Introduction
The GUIDE Extract is used to send student records to the GUIDE application for ID assignment and/or student information updates.
Note: This report runs for the current school or district-wide from any school.
Selection Criteria
Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report.
Student Selection
The report selects records from the [Students] table that meet the following criteria:
- The student must not be excluded from state reporting.
- The school where the student is enrolled must not be excluded from state reporting.
- The student must be currently enrolled in the school, where [Students]Enroll_Status=0.
- The student must be enrolled in one of the schools included in the report.
- The student must not be a no-show.

Student Type | Choose the appropriate value from the radio button list:

Add students based on Entry/Exit codes below | Select “Yes” to select additional students to the report based on the entry and exit code selections below. The students selected based on “Student Type” above are not affected. |
Include students with current entry code | Select entry codes to add. Students who have a current enrollment with one of the selected entry codes are added to the extract. Available values are all entry codes defined in the district setup. |
Include students where the previous enrollment has exit code | Select exit codes to add. Students whose previous enrollment has one of the selected exit codes are added to the extract. Available values are all exit codes defined in the district setup. |

Each of the fields displayed in the output of the report are described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.

Parent/Guardian Name | Indicates the first name and last name of a parent or guardian. Name format should be First Name space Last Name. The report removes leading or trailing spaces from the mother or father names, while leaving the spaces between names as entered on the Demographics page.
