Import FAFSA Data

Introduction

The Academic and Career Plan feature is now used to store FAFSA data. This option can be used to import the student FAFSA Data.

Prerequisites

1. Ensure the template format is as attached - FAFSA - Sample.csv

2. Date format has to be in dd-mmm-yy format only.

Run the Import

Navigation: District Management → Compliance → Data Import System.

1. Select the import file for FAFSA

2. Click Submit.

Output and Errors

View imported records and errors:

1. For successfully imported records, data mapping is as follows for the following master data

   1. This should be created under Cluster → ACP Certification, Program → FAFSA Program, Credential → FAFSA

   2. SASID → Valid student SASIS Id

   3. Locality = Other Location, Site = School Name

   4. FAFSA Completed Status = Pass(completed)

   5. FAFSA Submission Date → Credential Date, Falls in the term year and format ( mm/dd/yyyy)

2. Also ensure no duplicate data
