Connecticut Physical Fitness Assessment (CPFA)
Introduction
The Connecticut Physical Fitness Assessment (CPFA) is Connecticut’s annual assessment of public school students’ physical well-being. Students in Grades 4, 6, and 8 are assessed annually. At the high school level, schools have the flexibility to assess students at any grade, but must assess each student at some point between Grades 9 and 12.
Selection Criteria
Students must be enrolled within the user-defined report dates, or the school year the report is run for if the report dates are null.
Students must not be excluded from state reporting
Fitness grade scale seeded with Connecticut values

Field | Description |
Select Schools |
The report includes all records associated with the current school that meet the selection criteria. To change the current school, click School at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list. Note: This report can only be run at the school level. |
Select Students | All students – Run the report for all students in the current selected school that meet the selection criteria. |
Enrollment Snapshot date | Select the date for which you want to publish the report and click Submit. |
Report Execution Mode | Select from the following - Validation, Submission. Default 'Validation' User can run the report in the submission only once for the given input parameters. If the user runs it multiple time it will return blank. Validation mode can be run multiple times |
