Use this report to generate a CSV file for student average daily membership and attendance, taking into account student membership and JTED enrollments. Attendance from JTED reported section enrollments are excluded in the attendance totals of this report.
The attendance information in this report is meant to reflect Membership, Absence, and Attendance Minutes reported to the state in AzEDS Attendance transactions. See also: Arizona 2017-18 Attendance Improvements.
This report considers Concurrent Enrollments created using the Functions > Create New Concurrent Enrollment function (or through import). Students are included in the concurrently enrolled school’s report as well as their HOME school report if enrolled in two or more schools at the same time.
Note: For Absence information to be reported at the Concurrently Enrolled School, a student needs to be enrolled in classes at the concurrently enrolled school (using the ‘enroll in classes at another school function) and have absences (attendance taken) at those classes in the other school.
If a student is only enrolled in their main school and is taking a class at another school (without being concurrently enrolled there) then that student’s attendance will still be tracked on the report generated from their HOME school.
AOI attendance time is pulled from the AOI Attendance table (S_AZ_STU_AOIATT_C) entered/imported at the AOI school.
Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.
The report selects records from the [Students] and [ReEnrollments] and [S_AZ_STU_CONENR_C] tables based on the following criteria:
- The student must be enrolled in the school during the school year selected at report runtime.
- The student must be enrolled during the date range selected if a date range is used.
- The student must be in the selected grade level if a grade level is chosen.

If run at the district level, choose one of the following from the pop-up menu:
If run at the school level, the report includes all records associated with the current school that meet the selection criteria. To change the current school, click School at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list.
Grades(leave blank for all)
Check the grade levels the report should be completed for. Leave blank to run for all grade levels at the current school.
Data to be Filled
Select the checkbox next to the filter fields to save the settings as defaults. To select all checkboxes, choose Set All from the pop-up menu. To clear all checkboxes, choose Reset All.
Enter a start date using the format mm/dd/yyyy or mm-dd-yyyy in order to run the report on a specific date range.
Enter an end date using the format mm/dd/yyyy or mm-dd-yyyy in order to run the report on a specific date range.
|Select Enabled to include Entry and Exit codes in the report output.
Each of the fields displayed in the output of the report are described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.
The student’s SAIS ID.
The student’s locally assigned identifier.
The school id for the reported student.
The student’s last name.
The student’s first name.
The student’s grade level.
The student’s first day of membership.
The student’s last day of membership or the end date selected on the report parameters page, whichever is earlier.
The student’s track.
|The entry code for the school enrollment.
|The exit code scheduled for the student’s school enrollment for the current school year.
The student’s FTE value.
Note: If the 'Use Core Conversions' option is selected for SAIS Attendance Mode on the Attendance Preferences page, MembershipShare is used, otherwise FTE Value is used.
The student’s Tuition Payer status.
If Above is blank, defaults according to the below mapping:
Special Enrollment Code
The student’s special enrollment code value if one is present for the enrollment.
Indicates if the student is homebound. If the student is homebound then attendance values will be reported rather than absence values.
The Student’s absence amount during the reported enrollment period.
Absences from a student’s JTED reportable class are excluded from this total.
Calculated based on the SAIS attendance method selected. Refer to Arizona Attendance Reporting Methods for more information on SAIS attendance methods.
The Student’s attendance minutes during the reported enrollment period. This is only reported if the student is homebound or in pre-school during the enrollment.
The Student’s membership amount during the reported enrollment period.
If the 'Use Core Conversions' option is selected for SAIS Attendance Mode on the Attendance Preferences page:
Calculated based on student's membership share.
Calculated based on student’s FTE Value.
