The NCEA report and remaining data collection updates for the 24-25 school year are now available. These include the following:

Data Collection:

• Updated staff and student data collection.

• A new Middle Eastern/North African racial reporting category.

Report Updates:

• The Diocese and School Summary Forms has been updated to match the 24-25 specifications

Other Fixes:

• NCEA Diocese Summary Report now completes successfully when a student has two or more races and when one of them is not mapped to the NCEA race category.

CTE Program Type Updates

The following updates are made to the student’s Compliance - Career Technical Education (CTE) page:

• The ‘CTE Reporting Fields for students who participated in Certified Career Education Programs’ header is updated to ‘CTE Reporting Fields for students who participated in IRC - Industry Recognized Credentials’.

• The ‘CTE Reporting Fields for students who participated in Non-Certified Career Education Programs’ header is updated to ‘CTE Reporting Fields for students who participated in WBL - Work-based Learning’.

• The following Programs are moved from the IRC - Industry Recognized Credentials section to the WBL - Work-based Learning’ section:

  • State Co-op Ed. Skill Standards - DPI Employability Skills

  • State Co-op Ed. Skill Standards - DPI Occupational

  • State Co-op Ed. Skill Standards - DPI Youth Leadership

  • Youth Apprenticeship

Ed-Fi Framework: Updates to Start Time on Finished Completed Queues

The Start Time of the Finished Completed Queues wasn’t showing the correct time that the record was started. This has been fixed to show the proper start time to give an accurate log.

Ed-Fi: Updates for CTE Program Associations and Student Section Associations

The Program Type and Program Type Descriptors elements will now include new values IRC and WBL for all Program Association Resources.

Ed-Fi: Updates for Program Reconciliation

The reconciliation process for StudentProgramAssociations, StudentCTEProgramAssociations, StudentSpecialEducationProgramAssociations, and StudentHomelessProgramAssociations has been updated to run at the school level instead of the district level.

Ed-Fi: Updates to Race Key for requesting WISEID

The issue with generating a WISEID for newly created students has been resolved. The fix involved updating the Race Key logic, which now correctly sends only the valid race codes [A, I, P, B, W] to the ODS for WISEID requests.

Student Section Associations will now publish data irrespective of the Student’s Home school value.

Student Academic Review for Direct Admit Version

Student Academic Review for Direct Admit Version: 1.0.3

The following updates are made:

• The ‘Amount of current course credit hours to be used for in progress and future math classes' parameter is added to accommodate schools with year long courses that store grades with partial credit. The default value is 100% with additional selections of 25% and 50%.

• Column V is added to indicate the amount of course credit selected on the report parameter.

• The header on Column M is retitled to ‘Total Math Credit in Current Schedule’.

• The header on Column O is retitled to ‘Total Math Credit in Future Schedule’.
