V - Student Supports File 2024-2025

Introduction

This file captures information regarding students screened with an assessment or identified as at risk using another allowable option for various supports. Districts are required to report to OSPI the screener identification methods used and the interventions used or provided to at-risk students. Students reported in this file must also be reported in District Student File (B) and School Student File (C). Students should be reported in this file in the year they are screened or identified as at risk and any subsequent years in which they receive interventions. All instances of screening or identification for supports identified in this collection should be reported. If a student is screened multiple times for a single support type, report the most recent instance. When the file was introduced in the 2020-2021 school year, districts were not required to screen and identify students and report the data to CEDARS, but some districts adopted this process early.

Reporting screening to CEDARS was required beginning with the 2021-2022 school year.
