Record Full-Time Hybrid or Virtual Program Participation

The Full-Time Hybrid Program enables schools and districts to accurately track and report student participation in full-time hybrid or virtual educational programs in accordance with Texas state reporting requirements for the 2025–26 school year.

Step 1: Access the Student Program Page

  1. Log in to PowerSchool.

  2. Navigate to the Student Program page for the desired student.

Step 2: Open the Full-Time Hybrid Program Tab

  1. On the Student Program page, locate and click the Full-Time Hybrid Program tab.

Step 3: Add a New Participation Record

  1. Click the New button to open the participation entry form.

  2. Complete the following fields:

    • Begin Date: Select the start date of the student’s participation (date picker).

    • End Date: Select the end date of the student’s participation (date picker).

    • Full-Time Hybrid Virtual Program Participation: Choose from the dropdown:

      • 01 – Full-Time Hybrid Program Participation

      • 02 – Full-Time Virtual Program Participation

    • Exclude from PEIMS: Select if this record should be excluded from PEIMS reporting.

    • System Comment: Enter any additional notes as needed.

Step 4: Validate Entry

  • The system will automatically validate your input:

    • Entry Date must be before Exit Date.

    • Entry Date cannot be between existing Entry and Exit Dates for this Program.

    • Entry and Exit Dates will overlap existing Program Enrollment (if applicable).

    • Exit Date must be after Entry Date.

    • Exit Date cannot be between existing Entry and Exit Dates for this Program.

    • Exit Date is required when more recent records exist.

  • If validation fails, correct the highlighted fields as indicated by the error messages.

Step 5: Save the Record

  1. Once all fields are valid, click Save.

  2. The new participation record will be stored in the system and reflected in the Full-Time Hybrid Program tab.

Step 6: Edit or Delete Existing Records

  • To edit a record:

    1. Click the Edit button next to the desired record.

    2. Update the fields as needed and click Save.

  • To delete a record:

    1. Click the Delete button next to the record.

    2. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
