Set Current Term Year

To create extracts successfully for a given year, the current term year must be set to that year prior to attempting to extract data. This is not required for audit based extracts, but is required for all other extracts. To set the current term year the user must first be in the desired term year as found at the top right of the page. If the current indicated term is not the desired term to report, click Term to change the desired term year. Once the term is selected, use the "Set Current Term Year" function to set the term year data that will be extracted when executing non-audit based extracts. This only has to be completed one time in a term year and must only be set again when a different term year is to be extracted.

  1. On the Start page, click Special Functions. The Special Functions page appears.
  2. Click Interfaces to other systems. The Interfaces to Other Systems page appears.
  3. Click Tennessee Education Information System (EIS). The Tennessee Education Information System (EIS) appears.
  4. Click the Maintenance tab.
  5. Click Import Extract Element Configuration File. The Import Extract Element Configuration File page appears.
  6. Click the Set Current Term Year checkbox.
  7. Click Submit.The file will be imported into the StateExtract_Layouts and StateExtract_LayoutElements tables.
