Exit Codes

The following exit codes must be defined for the district

Note: The CumADM report considers students with an exit code that begins with the letter W as withdrawn. The high school completion portion of the CumADM report includes all students with an exit code of G or begins with the letter W and an appropriately specified diploma type.

Code	Definition
G	Graduated from High School with their class
W1	Transferred to another classroom in the same building
W2	Transferred to another public school in the same local district
W3	Transferred to a non-public school
W4	Moved out of the local school district or state
W5	Quit school – Beyond compulsory age
W6	Leaving school to go to work
W7	Graduated in mid-year
W8	Withdrawn because of other reason
W9	Transferred to a different grade level within the same district
