Special Education Services Fact Extract
Introduction
This extract generates a comma-delimited file used to track services provided to special education students.
Selection Criteria
Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report.
Student Selection
The report selects student records from the [Students] or [ReEnrollments] tables based on the following criteria:
The student must not be excluded from state reporting.
The student must have a school enrollment associated with a school included in the report.
The student must be enrolled in special education.
The student’s school enrollment must not be excluded from state reporting.
The student’s school enrollment Exit Date must occur after the Enroll Date.
The student’s school enrollment Entry Date must occur on or before the Enroll Date. The Enroll Date depends on the report period selected:
40D: 10/01/YYYY
80D: 12/15/YYYY
120D: 03/01/YYYY
EOY: 06/30/YYYY
Summer Submission: 06/29/YYYY
The school enrollment Exit Date must occur after the Entry Date.
The student is HSDA-flagged.
Note: Students with the SO code are only reported in the audit version of the output. They do not show up on the extract version of the output.
