Special Education Caseload Manager Extract

Introduction

This extract contains special education data for students with an assigned caseload teacher, sorted by caseload teacher. This extract is to be used as a tool to validate state reporting special education data within PowerSchool.

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report.

Student Selection

The report selects students based on the following criteria:

  • The student must not be excluded from state reporting.
  • The student must be enrolled on the user defined snapshot date
  • The student is assigned to a caseload teacher that the report is run for.

Caseload Teacher Selection

The report selects the caseload teachers based on the following criteria

  • The teacher/staff member is active
  • The teacher/staff member is assigned one of the following assignment codes:
  1. 94
  2. 95
  3. 95S
  4. 96
  5. 97

Note: Students that have multiple Services Fact records will have multiple lines in the report output (1 per Services Fact record).

Select Students

Choose one of the following:

  • The Selected [x] Students Only – Run the report for students in the current selection.
  • All Students – Run the report for all students in the current school or district.

Select Caseload Manager

Select the caseload teacher of the students you wish to be extracted

Snapshot Date

Enter the report snapshot date
