iNHDEX Free and Reduced Submission

Introduction

This report produces a Free and Reduced Submission for the iNHDEX.  The report can be run for Beginning of Year (BOY), Middle of Year (MOY) or End of Year (EOY).

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. For the iNHDEX Beginning of Year Submission, student enrollment records are selected.

School Selection

The report selects which school records to use based on the following criteria:

  • The school must be associated with a student included in the report.

  • The school is not excluded from state reporting.

Student Selection

The report selects which student records to use based on the following criteria:

  • The student is not excluded from state reporting.

  • The student is enrolled in the district (by default) or current school and their school enrollment is active during the date range specified.

  • The student is not excluded from i.4.see submissions.

  • The student must have the Free and Reduced indicator selected in the student record.

Description

Select Schools

If run at the district level, choose one of the following:

  • Select Multiple Schools – Select schools to include in the report. To select a single school, click that school. To select multiple schools, use Ctrl+Click and select each school to be included.

  • All Schools – Run the report for the entire district.

If run at the school level, the report includes all records associated with the current school that meet the selection criteria. To change the current school, click School at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list.

Select Students

Indicate which students to include in the report by selecting one of the following options:

  • The selected [number] students only – Run the report for students in the current selection.

  • All students – Run the report for all students in the current school or district that meet the selection criteria.

Note: If running the report for a single student, or group of students, select the students prior to running report.

Start Date

Enter the first date in the date range for this report. A student must have an active enrollment record equal to or later than this date to be included on the report.

End Date

Enter the last date in the date range for this report. A student must have an active enrollment record prior to or equal to this date to be included on the report.

Restrict students to those flagged for inclusion in i.4.see submissions

Select No or Yes. Default is No.

Include Column Headings

Select whether to include or not include column headers in the report.

Include Student Name

Select whether to include or not include student names in the report.

Scheduling – Run Now

Leave Run Now selected to run the report now.

Scheduling – Please Select When to run

Click Schedule to schedule this report to run nightly. Select Weekdays only.

This field contains SASID assigned to this student by the New Hampshire Department of Education. This field is extracted from the Start Page > Student Selection > New Hampshire State Information > i.4.see Data Elements.

If 'Yes' is selected in the 'Include Student Names' parameter, this column will appear with the student name in Last First Middle order. This a not a State Data Element for the report but is an option for the purpose of verification.

This field identifies the student’s eligibility for the Free and Reduced or Free Milk program. This field is extracted from the Lunch page, Start Page > Student Selection > Lunch.
