This resource publishes Student Daily Attendance including present days, excused absences, and unexcused absences.

The students must be enrolled in the current school year, and NOT be excluded from state reporting.

The students must NOT be pre-registered in the current school year. They are excluded automatically until they become active.

A pre-registered student has an Enroll_Status = -1 and a future entry date.

The school must not be excluded from reporting. No students will be published from a school that is excluded from reporting.
Saturdays, Sundays, and days not in session such as holidays or teacher workdays are excluded.
The K12 Student Attendance Resource is updated, and this can now be scheduled to publish changes once daily.

Customers can publish immediately using the Run Now option.

Customers can run it daily to publish the changes using the Schedule option.
Note: Customers must use the Publish 45 Days option. This publishes all attendance data for the past 45 days based on the current system date.
Daily Attendance Calculation
Beginning school year 2026–27, Mississippi defines students as present if they attend 66 percent or more of their expected school day. Expected minutes must be derived from the school bell schedule and include instructional time, passing time, lunch, recess, and time between classes.
If a school has a configured a bell schedule that includes instructional time, passing time, lunch, recess, and time between classes, when daily attendance is calculated for a student, the system determines the student’s expected school day minutes from that bell schedule. The daily attendance is calculated as follows:

If a student attends at least 66 percent of those expected minutes, then the student is marked present for the day.

If a student attends less than 66 percent of those expected minutes, then the student is marked absent for the day.

The attendance setup is based on the Mississippi 66% Rule for Attendance Reports.
