June Student Discipline Incident Management
This report extracts state reportable discipline data from Incident Management. The data submitted in the June cycle meets the discipline-related reporting requirements for school districts under the federal Gun-Free School Act, NCLB, IDEA, and the state law (Section 160.522) concerning school district report cards.
Selection Criteria
Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to the selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.
Record Selection
The report selects records from the [Students] and Incident Management-related tables based on the following criteria:
The Discipline Incidents must occur between the Start Date and the End Date. This is based on the Incident Date.
The students must be enrolled between the Start Date and the End Date:
The entry date must be greater than or equal to the Start Date.
The exit date must be less than or equal to the End Date.
Note: The system uses a function to calculate the Exit Date as the last insession day. This is because PowerSchool collects the day after the student leaves school while the report processes the last day the student attended school.
Items must be marked State Reporting only:
The Incident Type must be Missouri State Reporting^.
Exclude CRDC-related items. These are identified if the Policy Description is not null.
Exclude Items created for local use only. These are identified if:
The State Aggregate Report Code in the Incident Codes table is null.
The State Detail Report Code in the Incident Sub-Codes table is null.
