Create SFTP Connection

Navigate to System Management > Server > Plugin Configuration

Select the Remote Connection Manager plugin

Select Remote Connection Manager

Click Create Connection

Fill out the following form items:
a. Name – MN Direct Admit SFTP
b. Description - Connection for MN Direct Admit to State
c. Protocol – select SFTP
d. Host – filetransfer.mn.gov
e. Port – enter 22
f. Authentication Type – select Password
g. Username - as specified by OHE.
h. Password and Confirm Password - as specified by OHE.
i. Select “Allow upload”.
j. Click Test Connection to verify the connection is configured correctly. A ‘Connection Successful’ should result, if not review items a - i above.
k. Click “Submit”

The new SFTP connection is created.
Sending Data to the Office of Higher Education through SFTP
To send the Direct Admission Upload results to the Office of Higher Education select the SFTP connection on the report parameter screen. Results will not be sent if SFTP connections is set to (Disable) on the parameter screen.
