Indiana Reports in PowerSchool

The report description table includes the following elements:

  • Report Name – Name of the report as seen in PowerSchool.
  • Description – The purpose of the report.
  • Due Date / Cycle – The timeframe during which the report is submitted to the state.

Additional Student Information (DOE-AD) Report

Use the Indiana Additional Student Information (DOE-AD) report to gather student-specific information on student groups as required by the state.

Attendance (DOE-AT) Report

Use the Indiana Attendance (DOE-AT) report to gather student attendance information. The report counts those students who attended at any time during the selected academic year except for Pre-Kindergarten and Post High School students.

Certified Positions (DOE-CP) Report

Use the Indiana Certified Positions (DOE-CP) report to gather the positions on certified employees employed as of October 1 of the academic school year. This data is collected for federal and state reporting. This information will be used in the Annual Performance Report.

Use the CRDC Report to gather the federal Civil Rights Data Collection information for districts and schools.


Course Completion (DOE-CC) Report

Use the Course Completion (DOE-CC) report to gather information about the number and type of courses that the students in your district have completed throughout the school year. The student data is used for federal reporting as well as tracking course trends among students, reviewing student progress toward meeting state goals for dual credit participation, and researching the effectiveness of course-taking patterns.

Dropout and Mobility Students (DOE-DM) Report - obsolete

Use the Indiana Dropout Mobility report (DOE-DM) to gather information on student mobility and student dropouts.

Nonpublic Enrollment and Mobility (DOE-EM)

Use the Indiana Nonpublic Enrollment & Mobility (DOE-EM) report to gather information on students attending nonpublic schools.

Special Education Evaluation (DOE-EV) Report

Use the Special Education Evaluation (DOE-EV) report to gather information on students involved in an initial evaluation for special education services starting July 1, 2009.

Expulsion and Suspension (DOE-ES) Report

Use the Indiana Expulsion and Suspension (DOE-ES) report to gather student expulsion and suspension information on students suspended or expelled as a form of disciplinary action.

Graduate (DOE-GR) Report

Use the Indiana Graduate (DOE-GR) report gather information about graduates.

English Language Learner and Immigration Students (DOE-LM) Report

Use the Indiana Language Minority and Immigrant Students (DOE-LM) report to gather information about language minority and immigrant students.

LEP Federal Flexibility Collection (DOE-LE) ReportThis report is used to identify students enrolled in US schools for less than one academic year, whose results are not included in accountability calculations due to being English learners born in other countries.Dates are subject to change. Membership (DOE-ME) Report

Use the Indiana Membership (DOE-ME) report to gather Average Daily Membership (ADM) for the schools in your district.

The Indiana DOE requires each school to file this report three times each school year. You submit the first count in September, the second count in December, and the third count in May.

Pupil Enrollment (DOE-PE) Report - obsolete

Use the Indiana Pupil Enrollment (DOE-PE) report to gather the information used for disbursement of state grants and in the Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) calculation. This extract is generated as an XML data file.

The Indiana DOE requires each school to file student enrollment information as of October 1 of the current school year.

Real Time (DOE_RT) Report

Use the Indiana Real Time (DOE_RT) extract report to gather the records of all students that are enrolled during the reporting period. You are required to submit this extract to the DOE weekly, no later than midnight on Wednesday.

Restraint/Seclusion Form Report

The purpose of this report is to gather student restraint and seclusion data to report to the state.

Special Education (DOE-SE) Report

Use the Indiana Special Education (DOE-SE) report to gather information about special education students who have an IPE in effect on the count day.

Special Education Transition (DOE-TR) Report

Use the Special Education Transition (DOE-TR) report to gather information on students transitioning out of special education services and PK students that transition from PK to school age and continue special education services between July 1st and June 30th of the current school year. This report may be run at a school or district level or for a select group of students.

This is a required collection for public schools, including charter schools and state-operated schools.

Student Test Number (DOE-STN) Report

Use the Indiana Student Test Number (DOE-STN) report to correlate a group of students with test numbers.

Title I (DOE-TI) Report

Use the Indiana Title I (DOE-TI) report to list Title I services that students receive or are eligible to receive during the current school year. Your school district must submit this data between August 14 and September 6 of the new school year.

Testing Online and Barcode (DOE-TL) Report

Use the Testing Online and Barcode (DOE-TL) report to gather the student data that is used to populate student-level information for online testing and barcode labels for the following tests:

  • End-of-Course Assessment (ECA)
  • ISTEP+, IMAST, IREAD-3, ISTAR
  • LAS Links

You gather this information during the current year testing cycle for each test administration window.

The barcode labels and on-line information will help reduce the time requirements of the exam and ensure more accurate student information.
