Setting up Term BinsSchool Setup > Grading: Final Grade/Reporting Term Setup > [New] If your district or schools use marking period grades for awarding grades and earned credit periodically throughout the term of the course instead of awarding a single final grade and credit at the end of the course, you must set up Term Bins using the New Final Grade setup page and the name of the Term Bins must match the StoreCodes you use to store your marking period grades. Failure to set your TermBins up properly will result in no grade data being extracted in the TCS – Alternate Grading Method report. You must set up TermBins for every term that has associated courses that use marking periods. For example, if you have yearlong courses that use two or four marking period grades, you must set up TermBins for each marking period in that term such as S1 and S2 or Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4. If you have semester courses that use two marking periods, you must set up TermBins for each semester term, such as Q1 and Q2. | |||||||
