Supplemental Sun Bucks Collection (SSBC)

The Supplemental SunBucks Collection (SSBC) is a data reporting process used by California Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) to determine student eligibility for SUN Bucks, a summer food benefit program administered by the California Department of Social Services (CDSS). SSBC is part of the Education Data Collection System (EDCS) and supplements data from CALPADS (California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System). It helps identify students who qualify for SUN Bucks benefits during the eligibility period.
