Data Collection Process for Student Attendance Summary for WDE600 via SIF

Data collection for the WDE600 takes place during the spring reporting cycle.
The following entities are involved in this process:

District Student Information System (SIS)
SIS Schools Interoperability Framework (SIF) agent
State Zone Integration Server (ZIS)
WISE System

The data collection process is customized for the Wyoming state reporting needs and involves the following steps:

The district completes the school year.
The district generates and views aggregate student data within the student information system (SIS).
The district edits any necessary data in the SIS.
The district re-generates and verifies aggregate student data within the SIS. The data is now available to the SIF agent for SIF Response messages.
The district logs in to the WISE System and generates the SAS object request.
The ZIS issues a request to the SIS for a SAS.
The SIS responds with a SAS.
The district views the WDE600 trial.
If the district identifies incorrect data, repeat step 3 until the data is correct.
The district certifies the WDE600 trial.
