Introduction

The following data elements are required for state reporting.

To navigate to the school setup page:

  1. Click the School link at the top of the page. 

  2. Choose a school. 

  3. Under School, click Setup.

The following information describes the setup required for State Reporting. For information about the general school setup, see PowerSchool Admin Help.

Activities Setup

The School Performance Report Card specifies extra/Co-Curricular Activities as:

School-sanctioned activities intended to broaden, develop, and enhance a student’s school experience in the areas of academics, athletics, and music. Participation is not required and the group or event is not offered for credit or grade. In general, the Wisconsin Uniform Financial Accounting Requirements (WUFAR) describes co-curricular activities as "instructional activities under the guidance and supervision of school staff designed to provide students such experiences as motivation, enjoyment, and improvement of skills. (They) supplement regular instructional activities and include… band, chorus, speech and debate, (and) athletics".

Click the Add button to select the name of the Lead Teacher for this section. Enter the % Allocation, Start Date, and End Date for the teacher's association with the section. Under Actions, click the Delete icon to delete the entry. Click the Note button to review the Teacher's Classroom Position and add notes as needed. "Teacher of Record" is the default for the Lead Teacher.

Certified/Non-Certified Career Education Program

For Career Education, there are Program Types of Certified Career Education Programs and Non-Certified Career Education Programs. Select the appropriate Certified/Non-Certified Career Education Program option.

A CTE program can only be specified for a section when all students are participating.

If not all students are participating, record the appropriate program on the student’s Career Technical Education (CTE) page.

CTE Department (Program Areas Type)

The CTE Department (Program Areas Type) represents one of the six Career and Technical Education departments.
Each CTE course needs to be identified with the appropriate CTE Department.
No CTE Departments are displayed in the list when the course SCED code indicates that this is a not a CTE related course.
