State Reporting 21.3.2.0 Release Notes

The following updates have been made to the Learning Preferences functionality:

• Learning Preferences Code creation link is moved to District Setup page under the Code Sets link.
• The Code Start Date & Code End Date are now editable.
• The Learning Preferences link at Student-Level is renamed to Digital Equity & Learning Preferences.
• When creating a new record, field values from the last record with the greatest Effective Date carry forward if present.

    • Device Access

    • Device Serial number
    • Paper Learning Packets

J - English Learners File 2020-2021: Version 20.2

The CEDARS J - English Learners File 2020-2021 is updated to report the day before the date entered in PowerSchool when pulling Exit Date. Previous to this fix, it was not reporting the correct exit date in some scenarios.

V - Student Supports File 2020-2021: Version 20.1

The CEDARS V File, which was previously an empty file used only to enable the all-files submission, is updated to output student supports records. The report includes the most recent Student Supports record for any student in grades 0-2, enrolled in an included school during the selected reporting year, having a Student Supports record with an Identification Assessment Date also falling during the selected year. The fields specific to this file are pulled from S_WA_STU_StudentSupports_C. Field V10 (Interventions Used) is truncated to hold as many values as possible, keeping the total length under the maximum of 40 characters.

The Snapshot reports are fixed now and the reports are running and showing the completed successfully status as expected.

• Access to the Digital Equity & Learning Preferences link, at the student level, is now governed by a check box in the "Edit Security Group" page (path below).
  Path: Start page> System> Groups>[ select group ]
  Upon receiving the update, administrators must go into security groups and give the appropriate groups access to this page.
  Note: This security group setting is suppressed for ND and TX.

A new Race code is seeded for WA to collect W36 - White Write In

The above state reports are updated to optimize the way data is queried from database tables. The reports no longer reference the old (deprecated) custom fields and are now updated to directly pull from fields in database extensions (migrated custom fields).
