CEDARS 20-21 Reporting Incremental Updates

U - Initial Evaluation and Eligibility Timelines File 2020-2021: Version 2.5

The following data collection items are updated to support recently announced CEDARS changes:

Element B41 – ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) Administration School Year
Name Change - School was added, to clarify the school year the test was given should be entered, as opposed to the calendar year.

Element D14 – Dual Language Instruction Type
Added two new codes:
3 – World Language Enrichment Program
4 – World Language Immersion Program

Element Q08 – Identification Assessment (and Q10)
Updated Code Description:
'10 - FAST' - Update to: '10 - FAST (Formative Assessment System for Teachers)'

Element U09 – Reason for Late Initial Evaluation/Eligibility
New valid value:
8 - School closures due to COVID-19 (and school staff were unavailable or the parent stated that distance meeting options would impede participation or the assessment)

Element U12 – Reason for IEP Developed After Third Birthday
New valid value:
11 - School closures due to COVID-19 (and school staff were unavailable or the parent stated that distance meeting options would impede participation or the assessment)

Element B17 – Student Primary Language Code (and B18)
Updated language name
Rumanian (12) is changed to Romanian (12)

K15 Non-Public Agency
Update page validation: K15 is required if K06 LRE Code is 11 or 12 (current validation only includes 11)

• The CEDARS U Initial Evaluation and Eligibility Timelines File is updated to report a value of 1 for 'School Days To Complete Initial Evaluation' if a value of 0 is found in the database.

Washington Transcript 2008 And Beyond Updates

Washington Transcript 2008 And Beyond: Version 3.4

The Washington Transcript 2008 And Beyond report is updated to remove duplicate MM/YYYY text for month/year groupings of records where students have remote class terms with differing start or end term dates.
The report is also updated to print the updated state transcript URL in the footer.

Clock In/Clock Out Report: Version: 1.1
The Clock In/Clock Out Report has been updated and will report multiple Time In and Time Out values, on a single day, if they exist.

Contact Tracing Report Update - Incident Management Data Grouping

Contact Tracing Report Version: 1.3
The Contract Tracing report has been updated and can now pull data from Incident Management. When this data grouping is selected, the following points will be extracted:

• Name

• Student/Staff Indicator

• Student Number

• Grade Level

• School Abr

• Incident Date

• Incident ID

• Incident Title

• Incident School Abr

• Contact Name

• Phone Number

The parameter has been brought in a single row which says "Include" and the user can check the option "Class", "Busing" and "Incident"

The list of students will now be returned if the user enters a start and end date that span multiple years.
