As of November 25, 2020, PowerSchool State Reporting only supports PowerSchool 19.4.5.3 or later, and our Technology and Support teams will focus solely on supporting PowerSchool versions 19.4.5.3 or later.

CDC DTaP Rule Update

The minimum interval between the third and fourth DTaP dose is updated to four months. The interval is now reduced from six months to four months.

U - Initial Evaluation and Eligibility Timelines File 2020-2021: Version 20.4

The CEDARS Initial Evaluation and Eligibility Timelines File is updated to remove an extra tab from non-header rows.

The Program Code field on the Washington Programs and Attributes student page is updated to no longer display the following option from 19-20 term onwards:

• 49 - Title I Targeted Assistance Social Sciences

H - Student Grade History File 2020-2021: Version 20.2

The Student Grade History File is updated to report a value in the 'Industry Recognized Certifications Earned' (H31) column for only current term year grades when applicable.

Contact Tracing Report Update - Busing Data

Contact Tracing Report: Version 1.1

The Contact Tracing report is updated and now pulls busing data based on a newly added report parameter.

With the busing data parameter checked, the report will pull students that may have shared the bus with the report the student is run for based on the following:

• Bus Number

• Route Number

• Day

• From/To School

Student Digital Equity and Learning Preference Tracking Available in the Public Portal

A new page is now available (if enabled) in the public portal that will enable parents and guardians to enter learning preference and digital equity data for their student or students.

This functionality is disabled by default. To enable, navigate to the following page:

• Start Page> District Setup> Miscellaneous

If enabled, parents/guardians have the ability to create records and populate the following fields:

• Effective Date

  • Defaults to the current date

• Learning Preference

• Requested Timeframe

• Requesting Parent/Guardian

  • Defaults to the current user

• Internet in Residence*

• Internet Access*

• Internet Performance*

• Device Access*

  • Only display options 1, 2, & 5

The Comment field is not visible when a parent/guardian is creating a record but it will the following string will get saved for any record created in the public portal:

• Created in the public portal

Additionally, if a parent/guardian has entered a Digital Equity & Learning Preference record previously and they create a new record, the above elements that are marked with an asterisk will be pre-populated based on the values in the existing (previous) record.

The English Learners (Limited English Proficiency) Enrollments page is updated with the following validations:

• When J07, J22 is not the same and the exit reason is "O - Student Tested but did not qualify"
  • Message: Entry Date and Placement Test Date must be the same when Exit Reason Code is "O - Tested but did not qualify".

• When J07 and J08 is the same / J08 is before J07, but the exit reason is "O - Student Tested but did not qualify"
  • Message: Program End Date (J08) should not be before or equal to Program Status Start Date (J07).

• When J08 more than 1 day after from J07, but exit reason is "O - Student Tested but did not qualify"
  • Message: Program End Date (J08) must be one day after the Program Status Start Date (J07).

• When J07 is null, but the exit reason is not blank.
  • Message: Program Program End Date (J08) can not be null when Exit Reason is not blank."

• When J09 or Exit reason is not blank and J08 is the same as J07
  • Message: Program End Date (J08) must be on or after the Program Status Start Date (J07).

• When J09 is null and no date in J08 then there should not be any validation message.

The Student Programs and Attributes page is updated to include an additional reengagement code.
