CEDARS U - Initial Evaluation and Eligibility Timelines File - Selection Criteria Updated

U - Initial Evaluation and Eligibility Timelines File 2020-2021: Version 20.3

The selection criteria are updated for the CEDARS U File, such that timeline records are included if the Eligibility Date (U07) falls within the school year being reported (July 1 - June 30). This replaces the previous logic, which required the Initial Referral Date to fall within the school year.

A new report parameter is added to the CEDARS Special Education Programs File and All Files reports to designate reporting logic for the K File program Exit Dates.

• Report Actual Exit Date

• Report the Day Before Exit Date

New Reengagement Program Codes for 2020-21

Fifteen new codes (421-435) are added to the option set for CEDARS element I10 (Student Participating in a 1418 Reengagement Program Code), as entered on the Student Attributes & Programs Information screen. These codes are only visible when the selected school year is 2020-21 or later.

The 'Reason for Late Initial Evaluation/Eligibility' field is updated to have the following drop-down value for 20-21 school year forward:

The 'Reason for Late Initial Evaluation/Eligibility' field is updated to disable the '() Other (Enter specific reason below...)' option for 2020-21 school year forward.
