Incident Management: Action Codes (Intervention Applied)

Intervention Applied codes are listed in the Comprehensive Education Data and Research System (CEDARS) Data Manual available on the OSPI website. These values are used by CEDARS Element P09.

To load incident codes and sub-codes:

1. Navigate to Start Page > District > District Info from the District Office
2. Click the Load Codes/Subcodes link under ' Washington State -Discipline Codes and Subcodes Status

PowerSchool seeds a single action code for Suspensions but reports either a Short Term or Long Term suspension based on the duration of the action.

• When Action Duration is greater than 10 days, then LS is reported.
• When Action Duration is 10 days or less, SS is reported.
