Incident Management

Incident codes and subcodes that comply with state requirements must be added to the PowerSchool database. You may edit or change the description and display order of these codes and subcodes. You may also add new codes and subcodes. Description lengths are limited to 50 characters, thus some ODE descriptions are altered to fit this limit.

Note: The Washington State Weapons in School and Student Behavior data collections includes all incidents with the incident type of Discipline. The incidents are not validated based on the codes assigned to them. Thus, it is necessary to verify that the State Detail Report Code field associated with each code is a valid state code to avoid errors from the OSPI.
