The NCEA report and remaining data collection updates for the 24-25 school year are now available. These include the following:

Data Collection:

• Updated staff and student data collection.

• A new Middle Eastern/North African racial reporting category.

Report Updates:

• The Diocese and School Summary Forms has been updated to match the 24-25 specifications

Other Fixes:

• NCEA Diocese Summary Report now completes successfully when a student has two or more races and when one of them is not mapped to the NCEA race category.

2024-2025 Student Record Collection Updates - New Fields and Value Updates Report

Student Record Collection template and logic are updated as per the new DOE requirements 2024-25. The Filler 3 column is replaced with Parent Opt-Out Flag, which is extracted from S_VA_STU_X.Parent_Military_OptOut_YN. Phone Number logic is updated for Grade 11 and 12 students for Fall, EIMS, and Spring based on the opt-out setting.

SIF Unity: Adjust Name for Student Personal

The system has been adjusted to accommodate districts that do not want legal names published. A new property, UsesLegalName has been created to control whether the system uses legal names or standard names. Similarly, a property called UsesLegalGender has been added to manage the use of legal gender information. These properties default to true and use the legal name. If set to 0, only standard names and genders are used in the system.

Note: At this time, this property must be set by support.

PSSR-359174

SIF Unity: Correction to Serving School and Responsible School

The SIF Agent was incorrectly publishing Serving School and Responsible School without combining their district code values. This has been corrected to include the Division code in both fields.

PSSR-358783

SIF Unity: Not All Records Are Publishing

The dates of the SIF Unity agent were hard coded from 7/1 to 6/30. This caused students with exit dates after 6/30 to be excluded from publishing. The end date is adjusted to 7/1 to include these student records.

Sif Unity: RefId Not Generating Automatically

If the Student School Enrollment was published for a new student before the StudentPersonal record was published, this could cause the Student Personal RefId to be missing. This has been fixed and will now automatically generate as needed when either object is requested.

SIF Unity: Writeback of Student ID's Not Working

A few districts received an Oracle error ORA-30926 causing the write back of student IDs to fail. This has been corrected and the student IDs now properly load after receiving the data from the Student Locator.

Verified Credit Update Report: Version 2.5

The Verified Credit Update Report now reflects that verified credit has been earned when the Run in Verification Mode is set to Yes and Update Verified Credit if Field Already Contains Value is also set to Yes.

Verified Credits Update Report: Does Not Indicate Stored Grade Will Be Updated And Does Not Update Earned Credit

Verified Credit Update Report: Version 2.5

The Verified Credit Earned field on the stored grade is updated to 1 if the Run in Verification Mode parameter is set to No and the Update Verified Credit if Field Already Contains Value option is set to Yes.
