All States/Provinces: Office Visit Clinic Log Update for Multi-Select Fields in PowerSchool 21.4

Office Visit Clinic Log Report: Version 1.1
As the fields listed were changed to multi-select in PowerSchool version 21.4, the Office Visit Clinic Log is updated to handle multiple saved values for the Outcome field.
The report works as expected for districts that upgrade to PowerSchool version 21.4 as well as previously supported versions of PowerSchool.

All States/Provinces: CRDC Data Collection Implementation for 2020-2021

The Common Data Entry updates for the 2020-2021 Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC) are now available.

• The Schools/School Info CRDC page is updated to include:

  • Data entry for aggregate sexual assault or rape offenses involving staff members. This is optional for the 2020-2021 collection.

  • Data entry for aggregate staff and security staff FTE counts.

• The Courses and Sections CRDC pages are updated to no longer allow the selection of the AP category “OT – Other”.

• Data elements that are no longer collected for the 2020-21 submission are moved to deprecated field sections at the bottom of the respective CRDC pages.

CTE Tab: New Code Value '6'

The student CTE tab is updated to include a new value for CTE Finisher Code. The drop-down list is updated to display "(6) Has taken 2 CTE courses in a sequence but has not met the requirements for graduation". A help icon with the message "CTE Finisher Code must be 1, 3, 5 or 6 when CTE Cluster Code is not blank." is also added.

The listing of available codes for the Intensive Support Services Codes field is updated to include codes 31 and 32. Code 1 is deactivated from the selection.

• Code 31 - Intensive Supports Needs Special Education Program (Bristol, Buchanan, Smyth, Washington, and Wythe)

• Code 32 - Carroll-Grayson-Galax Special Education Regional Program

The Start Page > Student Selection > SRC Unexcused Absences tab is updated to display the detailed absence records when the attendance date hyperlink is selected.

Student Behavior and Administrative Response (SBAR) Collection - New Report

Student Behavior and Administrative Response (SBAR) Collection: Version 1.0
A new report is required for submission data for the SBAR collection. The Student Behavior and Administrative Response (SBAR) Collection report is available on the state reporting tab to report student/staff/other incident data as outlined by VDOE requirements for the 2021-2022 submission year. Incidents and participants must meet the selection criteria to be extracted. For more information, see the State Reporting Guide.

The following SRC reports are updated to correctly calculate the unexcused absence where a value of 0 was previously reported when recording meeting attendance:

Student Record Collection - EOY Version 4.9
Student Record Collection - Summer Version 4.0
Student Record Collection - SPED Version 4.0

The use of multiple attendance categories and entering an override daily code for meeting attendance is restored.

Update the Verified Credit Update Report to Add New Option on the Report Runtime Page

Verified Credit Update Report: Version 1.8
A new option is added on the runtime page to "Run for Graduated Students Only". Only students with the school number=999999 and grade level=99 are included when the "Run for Graduated Students Only" is selected. Selection can be made from the District Office or Graduated Students School.

The following values are added to the VA Extended Description on the Edit Course page:

The listing of values is also updated to sort by grouping/code value.
