State Reporting 20.9.1.0 Release Notes

PSSR-231044Minimum PowerSchool Version for State Reporting - 19.4.3.0

The all-states installer is modified to only allow the state reporting installer to install on a PowerSchool server with a minimum version of 19.4.3.0.

As of September 2, 2020, PowerSchool State Reporting only supports PowerSchool 19.4.3.0 or later, and our Technology and Support teams will be focused solely on supporting PowerSchool versions 19.4.3.0 or later.

PSSR-244272SRC Internet and Device Access Drop-Down Descriptions

Navigation: Start Page > Student Selection > State/Province - VA > General Tab

Internet Access Remote Learning Field on the General Tab has been updated with new drop-down descriptions. The updated descriptions are as follows:
1 - Internet access at home allows for live streaming, classroom instruction, real-time interaction with teachers and classmates
2 - Internet access at home is available but too slow for live streaming or real-time interaction
3 - Public connection NOT at home (coffee shop, fast food restaurant, recreation center, etc.)
4 - Other
5 - No internet connection available
6 - Unknown

Device Access Remote Learning Field on the General Tab has been updated with the new drop-down descriptions. The updated descriptions are as follows:
5 - Any public device (library, community center, etc.)
6 - No device access
7 - Unknown

PSSR-243445New - Student Learning Preferences Functionality

New core functionality is now available that gives administrators and school personnel the ability to track a student's learning preferences as well as their internet and device access.  This is optional and is not used for Virginia State Reporting.

To access, navigate to:

  • Start Page > [select student] > Learning Preferences

Districts set up their own Learning Preference options on the following page:

  • Start Page > District Setup > District Info > Student Learning Preferences
